Age UK South Lakeland are utilising the Compass ehub system to deliver secure services in partnership with other charities to those needing help and support. people needing support are having cases opened on the case management system and then joint working is co-ordinated through the use of the multi-agency referral system to securely transfer personal details and requests. This ensures that peoples' personal details are kept safe and allows seamless partnership working. The system is then also used to manage on-line payments in the case where shopping has been obtained, therby negating the need for any handing over of money, debit or credit cards. This reduces the risk by allowing social distancing and reducing the risk of financial fraud targeteed at those who are vulnerable.
